Companies Manufacturing Products In China Informative - All made in China

Review by Sambo1930 on 2011-01-25
The reason why so many products today are not up to standard. Is simple. They are made in CHINA. They work the workers long hours and management cuts all kind of corners to save money. The AMERICAN companies can not do anything about it.

There is not a single air cond. window unit made in the US. Whirlpool makes everything in China. I buy only Sears appliances.

and sears is made in either china, mexico or japan. but hold on, I remember 1963, everything that came out of Japan was trash. we may be seeing that again. today china sells trash, tomorrow?

Sears does not manufacture anything. However, they do carry some American made products, but they become fewer and fewer. Americans dictate with their pocketbooks where they can find the cheapest procucts. There is a web site called "still made in America." Check out what is available and patronize companies that are listed.

Both of you are absolutely right. Brand names representing quality are a thing of the past. All those brand names were sold off years ago. And Sears is nothing more than a has-been name. The Sears you once knew is dead.

if you the poster are this adamant, start your own manufacturer and make products in the usa. then you will see what unions and law suites do, and why many left the usa for mexico, japan, and china.

This is a simple one. Beginning back in the 80's, we, the American people, voted with our dollars. To make electronics and appliances affordable for all, manufacturing was outsourced to China. There are very few items manufactured in the U.S. anymore, we are no longer a manufacturing society, but a service society. It's sad, but if you boycott Chinese products, you may find very few, if any, alternatives. Incidentally, Sears appliances (Kenmore) are manufactured in China as well.
