Travelocity Complaint - Beware of Top Secret Hotels
OK...that was frustrating! I made a reservation at Travelocity's version of Priceline, Top Secret hotels and checked all my specifications: internet access, location, swimming pool, non-smoking. When my hotel was revealed, I found that the swimming pool was outdoors, which doesn't help when you're staying in the Midwest in January. I called customer support and they couldn't do anything because it's non-refundable, non-changeable etc. I even asked if they could "surprise me" with an alternative "Top Secret" hotel that met my criteria, but they weren't open to that either.
They really need to be able to let the customer specify indoor or outdoor pool. Now I'm traveling on business and not getting the chance to unwind that I was looking forward to. That's the last time I'll be using their service.
