Bank Of America Informative - Making Homes Affordable

Review by house on 2011-01-25
I don't know if I am the only one having problems with this making homes affordable program. I have tried since April 2010. Explainned I lost my job due to back injury and can't make as much now. I sent them everything they wanted. 3 months went by and all of a sudden they needed updated information. I sent that went by 3 more months got a call they wanted bank statements now mind you I sent them the other 2 times but they say once again they need updated information. I feel like I am getting the run around. So I call Bank of America to see what is going on with my application and once again I get we need updated information and after that it could take 45 days to get me to underwriting once again and 30 days after that.

So I decided I am going to stop borrowing money on something BAC has no interest in helping me. When they call me I will tell them to fax me documents and I will get back to them in 45 days. This is the worst thing to give people hope to stay in their homes and play games with them after. I guess BAC wants more foreclosures and then they can whine to our government then they can get another bailout that we will all have to pay for later. It is a sad day when BAC would rather have you have your house foreclosed then try to help someone out.

No, you are not alone. You are experiencing what many others have. From all the complaints posted here on my3cents it is pretty clear that Bank of America prides itself in foot dragging, re-requesting the same information over and over again and never providing the client with any service.
