AAA Complaint - Clueless And Indifferent
We've been long term members. No more.
They are clueless on the phone and in person. If you find someone by luck that is customer oriented, they are gone within six months when you seek them out. Yet the rates keep going higher.
Not worth a long-winded explanation. Bottomline: who needs 'em. Trip Advisor and Kayak provide better information and feedback on line, and the AAA trip planning dsicounts aren't even competative.
We switched our auto insurance to our home insurance carrier: FARMERS. Their 800-Roadservice assistance costs us $16/yr per car: total $32. No limits on towing mileage, no caps on rebates over and above signing authority for $150 per occasion. Gas, Battery, Lockout, tow...whatever. AAA wants over $150 and they treat you like bleating sheep.
Discounts at hotels are nominal, and all the chains have their own programs, and senior discounts and specials. AAA sucks. Let 'em fix their fangs in the ignorant who see things as they once were, not as they are. They're rapidly dismantling their reputation and their franchise.
Shoulda left 'em long ago.
