Polaroid Complaint - Polaroid Tv Needs To Be Looked Into For Fire Hazards

Review by harvard137 on 2011-01-26
A Polaroid TV was purchased in November of 2007. About first month or so the DVd player did not work. Polaroid sent another DVD to replace it. It was about a year later they called for the defective DVD. Luckily, I still had it in my cellar and shipped it back to them. Also was noticed black chips on edge of TV screen. The cable technician brought this to my attention. I told Polaroid about this but did no good. Finally, yesterday the TV was spewing out smoke. The TV was only 3 yrs.

I paid about $701 dollars for it. This is frightening because a serious fire would happened if this TV was unattended. The model was a 32"HD Widescreen LCD TV/DVD Combo.
