Best Buy Complaint - Customer Service??? - toshiba laptop
KENNEWICK, WASHINGTON -- This computer has been a lemon from the get-go. It blue-screened just a couple months after we got it. Best Buy replaced it. However, even though it was purchased in Feb,2010, Best Buy had no copy of the sale. First, Toshiba said it was out of warranty when I gave you the #s requested on the bottom. Next, wasn't sold at Best Buy. Next, repeated calls to come to Kennewick to pick up our 'ready' computer when; in fact; it had never even been sent in for repair. The store is 70 miles from our home in Dayton. Finally, we were charged $69.00 to have it assessed and we had already had it checked elsewhere and told the Geek Squad guy that the hard drive was fried. To make matters worse, after Trent, from Best Buy, went to bat for us and found proof of sale AND replaced the hard drive in the store while we waited; we have still not gotten back my $69.00.
One employee said that about 20% of sales of computers falls through the cracks and Sally; a supervisor, avoided my calls repeatedly.
