Thrifty Complaint - A rip off
VANCOUVER BC CANADA AIRPORT -- In November I rented a car at the Vancouver airport, we checked the car over, and marked down the little paint scratches and dents. just as I was getting ready to get into the car, I noticed a ding on the hub cap and told the women about it, she said, " oh it is minor, don ' t worry no problem".I think the women at the check out was getting tired of my finding more little things wrong with the car and she was having to mark them down. It was a 120 dollar problem when I brought the car back. I explained how I couldn't have done it, as I drove to point B parked the car in the drive way and than a week later drove back to the airport. I didn't move the car for a week. I was billed the 120 dollar charge.
Be sure you mark every single mark on the car on the check out sheet before you leave. Their rudeness was a whole other issue, both on the phone to Ottawa and also at the counter at the airport.
Never again will I use Thrifty in Vancouver which is also now Budget.
