BuyersEdge Complaint - UMG*Buyersedge and UMG*My Advisor

Review by Octoberguy84 on 2005-04-18
PENNSYLVANIA -- After reviewing my bank statement, I have realized that there are numerous charges from UMG*Buyersedge and UMG*My Advisor. It seems that every 20 days, 2 charges of 11.99 appear on my statement. After calling this company 8 times, I have gotten nowhere, and have yet to see the $472.87 that was taken from me. After everything that I have read about this company, I strongly believe that UMG is fully responsible, and if enough people speak out, we can get to the bottom of this problem and hopefully shut down UMG for good.

You did not get charged EVERYDAY for that price...THAT IS SUCH A HUGE LIE!!! What happened is that the charge wasn't able to go through because either you cancelled the card your your stupid self spent everybit of your money and they couldn't charge the amount that you had AGREED TO EITHER THROUGH THE PHONE OR THROUGH THE MAIL. The attempts were made but THE REQUESTS WERE CANCELED. Dont try to get free money you stupid or something?

I used to work for UMG. I'll tell you that. AFTER 2 NO'S they automatically give you a maximum of 2 credits...ASK FOR THEM OR YOU WONT GET THEM. Also, If you have been having charges for up to 6 months...THEY GIVE THE CREDIT BACK FOR UP TO 6 MONTHS. That is the most they will EVER DO. And i mean EVER!!! 6 is the most the credit card company will allow for reinbursement and that is the most that a supervisor is allowed. PHone calls ARE recorded to play back to a customer to show that they did say a yes. Anything through the mail WILL BE TAKEN TO COURT TO SHOW THAT THE CUSTOMER SIGNED THAT THEY WANTED THE SERVICES. The company has been in business for 30 years for a reason. They make money off stupid people that dont know what they sign, what they agree to, or what they click on. Quit being lazy and pay attention to what you do.
