State Farm Insurance Complaint - State Farm is there only in good times
Recently received a letter from State Farm insurance notifying me that they would not be renewing my auto insurance policies. I have been a loyal customer for over 15 years, paying my premiums on time and insuring 4 kids and their vehicles throughout the years through State Farm. For the first 12 years, everything went well in spite of having teenagers, with virtually no accidents, etc. Then, over the last three years, my daughter got a speeding ticket for 10 miles over, I got in a fender bender totaling 1300.00 and got a speeding ticket as well for under 10, and then backed into my son's basketball hoop causing $1500.00 damage to my vehicle. Shortly after, I received the non-renewal notice. My deductible is $500.00, so the total they paid out was $1800.00. And, I guess the thing that upsets me is....fifteen years of premiums, and as long as things are good they are fine with insuring me, but have a bad year and they are done. Seems like they are only there for you in the good times. Not very loyal to their customers and they have lost this one forever. And, if I can tell my story I will make sure that others know how they treat their customers as well. There is cheaper and better insurance out there....don't assume State Farm is good just because you've heard their name....they don't really care about the little guys.
