Pigeon Forge Police Dept. Informative - Police use illegal measures

PIGEON FORGE, TENNESSEE -- I consulted a knoxville PI by phone on 3/2005. I explained my issue with the police. I was told they may hold a grudge on an acquaintance I was with around 3am, on 2-02-2005. We headed for Walmart that night. Three officers pulled us over. They did an illegal search I was told. Only the State can make such decisions I was told. They found nothing. They mocked us and laughed as they left. One short-dark hair officer that earlier in the search asked for my name and SSN. He made a pun about being out late and it being illegal to by a fry daddy this late. I don't remember seeing a badge on him. The older officer wore what at the time as I try to remember was grey shorts and a T-shirt, carrying a flashlight. The officers pulled us over before Louis Mandrell Theatre there on the Pkwy. in Pigeon Forge. First they lied on us saying we didnt come out of where we did come from-acquaintances home. Thankfully no guns to our heads! Many tourists complain about that. It isnt because I dont like this city or any other :) There's just lack of oversight in this State.

It appears as though the tourist industry and their department of commerce are noticing many similar problems of the same nature. Maybe the media should be enlightened?
