Air France Complaint - Do Not Use This Airline - Customer Service And Checkin

Here are two stories of Air Frances unhelpfulness.

1. on my return trip 2009 from havana I tried checking in for the flight only to find that the checkin was closed and had been taken over by iberia airline half an hour before it should have been closed as stated on the flight scedule given by Air France, after asking to see a representative of Air France I was sent to there office around the back of checkin only to find it closed after finding someone who would help they eventualy found a representative of Air France who told me that I had missed the checkin time and would have to return to Havana center to pay a fine and book a fresh passage, after being treated very badly I stopped one of the iberia airline staff as they passed the Air France office and asked them what had happened and they told me that Air France had given up there checkin early as they had only a few customers who had not checked in within half an hour before closing checkin so that they (iberia ) could start their checkin early, this was dicussed within the Air France office with the supervisor present and was still told that I would have to pay the fine and the next flight free was in one weeks time. I encountered other people at the havana office in the same situation, having to pay over $200 fine and paying for an extra week in havana, i was told to write to customer service when I returned to the UK, doing so only to be told nothing can be done tough luck.

2. as a frequent flier (flying blue member ) I once again tried to book a flight to havana online , fine did not seem to have any problems payed by their secure online payment program, received reservation no. 57GSDS etc. only to find that days before my flight I did a quick check on the flight details to find that nothing had been booked and had no flight, sent e-mails then phoned customer services to be told that there had been an error on the online payment program and would now have to pay the full price for a ticket around £150.00 more, I have since booked a flight with online company ( not direct with Air France ) paying less money for the same flight. DO NOT USE THIS AIR COMPANY AS THEY ARE THEIVES AND DO NOT GIVE A **** ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS. I HAD USED THESE THEIVES FOR SEVERAL YEARS ONLY TO FIND THAT THEY ARE JUST ROBBING FROGS AND DO NOT HAVE A CUSTOMER SERVICE. VIVA WATERLOO !!!!!
