T-Mobile Complaint - Beware Of Smooth Talking Salespeople!!
We have been with T-Mobile for appox. 2 years now, after 10 years with AT&T. When we inquired, before signing with T-Mobile, about reliability and dropped calls, we were told not to worry, that they have AT&T's towers available to them when needed. Specifically, the 50 mile area between my husbands work and our home was a concern. We were told not to worry, we would have NO PROBLEMS between Chicago and Milwaukee. HOWEVER, over the last 6 months or so, have had consistent dropped calls, even in highly populated areas. When I called, I was told that T-Mobile DID (focus on past tense) have arrangements with AT&T to share towers, however, not any more. I expressed my concerns that because THEIR circumstances had changed, they were now offering me an INFERIOR SERVICE to what I had signed up for. They REFUSED to waive the early contract cancellation fee of $200, and basically said they can not guarantee coverage anywhere. I will have to ride out my 1 year left on my contract because I don't have $200 sitting around.
Prior to this, had SEVERAL locations where our phones would get NO RECEPTION while others used their phones easily. Not to mention, I get no reception IN MY OWN HOUSE!!
