AAA Complaint - Not Worth The Money
BROKEN ARROW, OKLAHOMA -- I had a dead battery and called AAA and they gave me a time they would be there to tow my vehicle to the dealership. They never came. When I arrived at the dealership to get my vehicle, they called AAA to ask when it would arrive and they told them they were only taking emergencies due to the snow that had started. They never called me to tell me. The dealership took me home as I did not have a ride. I called AAA when I got home and they gave me my number and said call the next day. I called early the next morning and they said my order did not roll over to the next day so they started another and gave me a time they would be there to pick up my auto. About 2 hours later I received a message to call AAA. I called 2 different time and was on hold for more than 10 minutes each time. Finally they called again and said they were only taking emergencies. I said "so my membership is not doing me any good?" and he said they were only taking emergencies and not going into residential neighborhoods due to the snow. A friend of mines mother had them come to her house to change a flat on the day they told me they were not going into neighborhoods. I will NOT renew my membership and will request a refund (which I do not expect to receive). Save your money - they are not there when you need them. I am a senior citizen who lives alone and was out of medication and low on food. Did they care? Absolutely NOT!
