Western Dental Complaint - Western Dental - Dental Services

Review by BkaB on 2011-02-08
CALIFORNIA -- OMG... where do I start. First off, don't go to them UNLESS you want to be treated like you are going to buy a car. That's about what they wanted me to pay total for some dental work. I was in pain and needed immediate assistance. So I agreed to the amount they were going to charge me to pull one tooth.
After all was said and done, they NEVER sent me a bill, then they sent me to collections. I talked to someone on the phone, they said the bill had been returned (not by me) so then I asked them to resend it. I have asked them numerous times to send me a bill in the mail. NO I will not give you my credit card info. over the phone. Then I e-mailed and asked them to at least send me my accout number, I have yet to get a reply.
I have talked to a few others and they said the same thing happened to them, unless you want this on your credit report because they WILL NOT send you a bill, DO NOT, I repeat DO NOT go to Western Dental.

If it is not on your credit report then hot foot it down there and pay them! Forget the mail.

If it IS on your credit report already you may as well just forget it. Paying it now won't fix your credit. The damage has already been done.

Was the total on the bill the same as you agreed to? If so, why don't you just pay the bill to be done with it and make sure it doesn't go on your credit report (if it hasn't already)? I totally agree that they should send you a bill, but they've got the power and you need to do what you have to do.

It sounds like this has already been sent to collections.

Personally I would give my credit card number with smoke signals, if it meant my bill wasn't sent to collections.
