PetWellbeing.com Complaint - 90 day money back guarantee misleading
MCDONOUGH, GEORGIA -- I ordered a drinking fountain for my cat and wished to return it because my Vet said it would stress her out too much. I only ordered this product because on the product page, in bold print, under the product description and beside the photo, was stated "90 day money back guarantee." This same statement was printed in bold black on another page offering the fountain with an herbal supplement. It was not obvious on the page that the guarantee was not valid.
When I tried to return the product I was told they could not accept it because of health reasons. I told them I understood this, but that my money should be refunded because the bold print message about their 90 day guarantee was misleading. They refused. They directed me to the very bottom of the page where it said the guarantee did not apply to drinking fountains. This statement was in complete conflict with the bold printed 90 day money back guarantee that you see when you open the page for this product. It was a $60 product that people might hesitate to purchase if it was obvious that it could not be returned.
