Target Complaint - Lack of Consideration for the Disabled
I am partially disabled. When I go to a large store like Target, I have to use a motorized scooter. Usually I use my own as the ones in most stores in the area are so beat up and seem to usually not be charged up. However, to Target's credit, they provide motorized scooters. However, that's not 100% good.
Whenever I use a motorized scooter at Target (theirs or mine), I find that it is almost impossible to navigate a lot of areas of the store, especially the men's department. There is so much merchandise crammed into the department that it's impossible to make turns without hitting a rack. Usually I have to back all the way up to the main aisle in order to make a turn.
Almost a month ago, I sent the store manager a letter asking him if he could look into making at least the men's department more accessible. Unfortunately, he has chosen not to respond. I guess now it's on to Target Corporate to see if I hear back from them.
