T-Mobile Complaint - Highway Robbery
I've been with T-mobile since 2002 and put up with the terrible coverage in call quality because of the price. You get what you pay for. I had to stand by the window or in my driveway to get one to two measly bars! Forget about any signal in the lower level of my home. It's not like a live in the middle of nowhere - I'm 4 miles outside of my state capitol! On my commute to work, I know every spot that I will drop the call which are MANY. When I couldn't take it anymore, I switched to AT&T which has been wonderful. I got socked with a $200 early termination fee which I tried to fight. Apparently in the very fine print in their contract, I was told that it states that if you try to trouble shoot with a technician and they can't improve their coverage, they will waive the early termination fee (which I might add is 10 times more than the value of the pathetically cheap phone I got!) Ha - I guess 9 years as a customer who paid every bill on time, wasn't enough time to get that straightened out! I will NEVER be a T-Mobile customer again and wish I could warn every potential customer thinking about them. The price isn't worth the frustration!
