Time Warner Cable Complaint - Without a doubt the very worst internet on planet earth. AOL during the 90s was even better then Time Warner in 2011.
ROCHESTER, NEW YORK -- I have used Time Warner now for over 5 years. My mother hooked me up with somebody that did her cable and I got a very good price on a package deal, which is nice, however every single week since the day I purchased it I have had problems with internet connection that is relatively perpetual. It never ends. I can't stay connected to Xbox for more then a game, usually less then that. Half of the time Xbox won't even find a connection to my internet. The internet itself is incredibly sluggish. Both my boyfriend and I use macbooks with two different web browsers. He uses Safari, I use Mozilla. Makes no difference. Takes about 5 min to load up a web page. When I called two days ago to complain about this the tech support had me on the phone for over an hour trying to fix the problem. Never fixed it. He made me run some test where he revealed to me that I have a "50% packet loss". He asked if he could have somebody else call me back the next day which made me burst out in laughter. The next day, nobody called and my internet was running fast. The day after that its back to its usual terrible speed. This company does not give you the speed you pay for and their customer service is crap.
Will be canceling this garbage today and looking forward to upgrading to T1. Thanks Time Warner for notta.
