Electrolux Complaint - Issues with kitchen appliances and Sears
Buying Electrolux appliance and dealing with Sears was not a pleasant experience. We bought what we thought were near high end SS stuff--dishwasher, stove, fridge and MW. The dishwasher installed wrong. The stove had installation issues between what we were told the installer would do vs what he said he could do. The MW had to be ordered at Sears over the computer. Sales person never mentioned there was no turntable. Why produce this level of product without? The label on front was installed upside down and installer did not catch or care. Big struggle to get corrected. When you cook with the MW you cannot follow direction on the food package--it way over cooks. If you do a reheat and put a microwave safe handiwrap type product over the food to prevent spilling and it melts the covering onto the dish--even before if finishes reheat. Fridge issues--makes a lot of noise when it starts to make ice after emptying the ice holder--sounds like a coffe pot percolating. If you don't use ice everyday the ice in the holder freezes together. The fridge arrived with the wrong bin configuration and it was an unacceptable hassle to get that corrected between Electrolux sending the wrong ones when asked by Sear and the local Sears store taking no responsibility because we ordered it at a different Sears. The installer never installed the air filter in the fridge and we did not discover that until the light came on telling us to replace.
