Dyson Compliment - Dyson DC 07 - Good Warranty! Great Customer Service and a spa day for my Dyson.
I bought a Dyson DC 07 in December of 2008 - and yes, it does too pick up dog hair and other debris. But what I LOVE is their Customer Service! I live in a small-ish town in Oklahoma and abck about 18 months ago, the belt broke. Being a DIY kinda gal, I tried fixing it. No luck - so I called their toll-free number 1-866-693-9766 and after hunting thru his database of repair shops we discovered none exists in this region. I had drive to a Postal Annex in Wichita Falls, TX to mail it in to a service center and got it back within 10 days. The only complaint I had is that I had to drive 100 round trip to send it to them.
Yesterday, 2/13/2011, I noticed the machine was not working right - the beater bar was not going roundy-roundy, meaning a broken belt again. So I called their C/S line, and spoke with Tawanda - she was just so nice. She saw that I had driven all that way to Wichita Falls to deliver the machine to a shipping company, she kept saying " No, No, that is not right...that's not how we do it." Anyway, the upshot is, she are mailing me a box to pack it up, they'll pick it up and send it back when it is repaired. Tawanda also gave me her direct line in case I had any questions.
Did I mention that this all costs NOTHING? Free phone call - Free Shipping to and from, Free repair - it cost the consumer nothing.
