Dish Network Complaint - Do Not Switch to Dish Network!!
I recently switched to Dish Network after being with one of their competitors for quite some time. Their prices were lower and when I had called to speak with a representative the customer service was great. About 1 week after I had switched I noticed I had been overcharged for my service and that it wasn't from Dish but from one of their "authorized dealers." So, I asked for the number to reach the representative I had closed the deal with and given my credit card info too. The number they gave me went directly back to Dish, not the company responsible for overcharging me. After being put on hold for a lengthy period of time etc. I received a different phone # to reach this company, and sure enough it went directly back to Dish. I did this 3 times then asked to speak to a Supervisor, who was rude, and responded to me like a bully from the 8th grade. She was catty, obviously uneducated, and took the call as a personal affront instead of "what can I do to help one of our new customers?" Instead of addressing my complaint she told me I was unauthorized on the account and she could only speak to my husband, even though I am the only member of the family who had ever spoke to Dish or their affiliates and all the information, credit card, phone # etc was mine. I asked to speak with her supervisor. She put me on hold and every few minutes would pick up the phone and say something into it and then hang up on me again. I had never dealt with this bad of a level of professionalism in my life. Dish Network is the gutter of sattelite TV, don't bother.
