Subway Compliment - A Well-Deserved Apology
CHEHALIS, WASHINGTON -- Crystal posted a complaint about us being charged for extra bacon when we felt that none had been ordered or received. We had a long heart to heart with the lady who holds the local franchise, and we were able to clear up a misunderstanding. I had heard the Turkey BLT mentioned on a television commercial for Subway, and it sounded good to me. What I did not know was that the Turkey BLT is not a normal menu item. According to the very nice lady we spoke to, we got a new cashier who did not let us know that the BLT sub with bacon was an extra bacon item. She had spoken with her boss, whom she described as a wonderful guy, and he told her to send us some coupons for six-inch subs to make up for the misunderstanding. She also said she would be watching for us to come in again and take the opportunity to shake our hands and get better acquainted. Again, we apologize for for our part in a foul-up and I am glad we got it resolved, as we really do like Subway sandwiches.
