Shorline Brewery Compliment - The generousity of The owners of the Shoreline Brewery

Review by struggling_mom on 2011-02-17
MICHIGAN CITY, INDIANA -- The owner of the Shoreline Brewery and his family took their Thanksgiving Day and went to the business. They cooked a lot of food, but they did not open to the public. They cooked a big thanksgiving dinner for the woman and their children that live at the domestic violence shelters. I know that not too many of the woman showed up because of transportation and the weather. But for this family to give up their day, cook all the food, serve it for free and let these shattered families enjoy one day is what this world needs. I think that we should all stop in and have a sandwich or a drink and tell them what nice people they are. Which they are.

Awesome..and this has obviously stuck with you to write a review almost 3 months after Thanksgiving, these are the kind of things I read that make me go "aww"...I love to hear that there are still generous people in the world. Thanks for posting!

Wonderful people apparently. My grandfather worked at the reformatory years and years ago, in the stone age, as a guard. Thank you for a story of true giving when one didn't have to. Bless the brewery owners and may their business prosper.
