CVS Compliment - CVS just got my future prescription business, and wal mart lost it!
MYRTLE BEACH, SOUTH CAROLINA -- So as you all know, I am sick with the flu. I went to my doctor, and he gave me a few prescriptions I need to get filled as well as another regular daily prescription refill that I needed. There was a Wal Mart down the road that I normally went to to get my regular prescription filled, a 90 day supply for 10 bucks. Well today I went into the Wal Mart to get the prescription filled, she entered all my info, prescription plan info in the computer, and said "all done, it will be 2 1/2 hours" The worst part is she said it so nonchalantly. I asked her for my prescriptions back, thanked her for her time, and left.
I was on my way home, and decided to stop at CVS. I made my way back to the counter, and greeted by a nice lady who happily entered all my info into her computer. I talked to her about how sick I was, etc. and had a nice conversation. I told her how long Wal Mart was going to take, and she said I'm not the first to tell her that. She also saved me a lot of money by letting me sign up for this membership, for 15 dollars, you can pay 11.99 for over 400 types of generic medications, mine being one of them, and you get a 15 dollar gift card in return. I asked her if I was able to use my gift card towards my other prescriptions, and she said no problem. 15 minutes later, my prescriptions were ready. I am totally impressed by the professionalism and quickness of CVS and I will DEFINITELY be going to CVS for now on for all future prescriptions.
