Priceline.com Complaint - Never Again...Misleading & Shady Website
Booked hotel, happy to abide by stated terms and conditions, which require check in on day of reservation or forfeit first night payment. No problem, however I wanted to depart early and was told that the system was "locked" and they cannot make changes. NO WHERE DOES IT STATE IN THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS THAT CHANGES CANNOT BE MADE BEFORE NOON ON DAY OF ARRIVAL. I read through the terms with the representative and then with the "higher up" customer relations department and was told there was nothing they could do. However, they couldn't point to anything in the terms and conditions to support their inability to help me. The customer service relations reps supervisor was not "taking calls". CRAZY!!! When I read the big green box on the website advertising that there were "no cancel or change fees", the representative told me that Priceline doesn't charge a fee but the hotel does....very misleading!
THIS IS A SHADY WEBSITE, BUYER BEWARE!!! I used Hotels.com in December in New York City and they were very pleasant and accomodating. I'll stick with them from now on...
