Ashley Furniture Complaint - Crappy customer service once they take your money!
LONG BEACH, CALIFORNIA -- ** UPDATE** Couches just arrived & ottoman was missing the feet (btw... plastic feet! On the couches!). Made delivery guy call his supervisor to tell me when I would get the feet. 7-14 days to have the feet delivered. Unbelievable. Guess there's no quality assurance dept at Ashley. I'm pretty sure IKEA would have been a better experience and totally cheaper. Shame on me for not reading the reviews first. Lesson learned.
Took off work to be home for the 8-12 delivery window. At 11:45 received call from the delivery guys saying they were still 2 hours away because there was traffic. I can understand traffic... living in California and all, but if you were 2 hours away, why did I only get notified 15 minutes before my delivery window ended?! I called customer service to complain and was told "these things happen". I said "with all due respect, miss, your job is supposed to be customer service and I am obviously not satisfied. And your response is 'these things happen'?" She could've cared less and started to give me an attitude back. So disappointed in the service.
