Homeowner Complaint - Travelocity really sucks

Here is the complaint I sent to Travelocity. I didn't want to type it again, here goes:

first of all you sent my itinerary with the wrong airline and the wrong conformation code. Second, I was asked if I wanted shuttle passes since the hotel was so far away from disneyland and they never came with the hopper pass voucher. I called and I was told they weren't offered. excuse me, but I didn't make it up. third, and this is the killer, I asked if the hotel we were staying at had a pool that was working, I was told to hold while the representative called the hotel to find out, the representative came back on the line and said the pool would be working. when we got there we were told is was being worked on and we could go to another hotel to swim. Who wants to do that? I will never use your service again. I will tell all my friends, neighbors and co-workers to do the same. I was also told that you couldn't get the passes for the shuttle bus and I would have to pay for them and then you would re imburse me for the price of the shuttle, 17 dollars a day X 4. If we had waited to get our boarding passes the day of the flight, we would have missed it because of the wrong airline, flight number and conformation code. Fourthly, the seats we had were spread all over the plane. what' is that? The woman from the airline, once I found out which one, said you were more concerned with getting us window seats than sitting together. we were traveling with a 5 year old and you wanted us to sit apart from everyone in our party? the woman at the airline got it fixed for us and apologized for your blunder.

I don't like Travelocity either. I do use Expedia from time-to-time but I would not rely on any online travel site for anything like a special seating request or making sure a pool was going to be working.

I would have worked those issues directly with the hotel or airline, if possible, even if I was booking via online travel agent.

I didn't really get the part about the shuttle passes but it sounds as if they were not something that is offered on the website. So, that also seems to be a special-handling type of situation. That's not what the travel sites are good for.

Keep it simple with the travel sites. Only once or twice have I had to talk to those people on the phone. It wasn't productive. If you don't see it in black-and-white on your confirmation, don't believe it to be true. And if you do see it in black-and-while, make sure you understand all the little disclaimers and gotchas in the fine print.
