Sears Complaint - Terrible Online Order and Delivery System
Ordering from them online was a total debacle. I spent well over $500 dollars ordering a stove to be delivered and installed. They sent an automated message indicating that they would deliver the order within a two hour window and we took the day off in order to receive the delivery.
When the guy showed up with a 25 foot truck all he had was the $15 dollar gas hook up that comes with the installation. When we called to complain they said that the confirmation was "only for the gas hook up" and that they would need to deliver the stove the next day. We would need to take another day off in order to accommodate their screw up?
I spent at least an hour and a half getting jerked around by their delivery department and the best they could offer was a $30 gift certificate. When I told them we needed it delivered on Saturday they said that day was already booked. What a joke. What a terrible company. Never do business with them. Go buy from Home Depot, Lowes, Best Buy or anyone else.
