MetroPCS Complaint - Define pre-pay - cell phone billing
GRAND PRAIRIE, TEXAS -- I have a account with Metro PCS, which provides prepaid monthly phone services. My problem is ex; the due date of my bill is 4th of each month this pass month I couldn't pay on the 4th due financial problems. So they cut my phone for 10 days I paid the bill and they cut phone on for app. 11 days then cut it off on the 4th again because the "due date" was the 4th and the new bill was due again. Mind you 30 days had not lapsed. When I called and stated my problem I was informed that regardless of the 30 days of services I'd gotten in the past if monies was not receive on the "due date" then my prepaid arrangement's had been forfeited because of the "due date" contract. Which they could not provide in writing. I spoke to several representatives and they all recite the same. Previously in the past I paid my bill early and company automatic changed my "due date"??? Now they claim this is perfectly legal to request prepayments for services in advance yet not honor the monies already paid when the services was turned off for the periods past the "due date". Metro PCS requested that if I wanted services restored I needed to pay an additional $37.00 to cover the 2 weeks left in the month. Bill is $43.00 per month. I believe this grossly unfair and please help me to understand "Pre Pay" arrangements.
