Today's special, tracfone with a 1000 minutes - Complaint
TAMPA, FLORIDA -- I ordered a Tracfone through HSN, it was to have had 1000 promotional minutes. I paid nearly $80.00 for this phone and all I got was a nightmare! I activated the phone through Tracfone and signed up correctly for the 1000 minutes, four weeks later no minutes. I called HSN to complain and they sent me a new phone. I tried again to activate and get my promotional minutes. Every time I finally reached a representative at the HSN care team I was disconnected. Tracphone said I had to purchase minutes to get the 1000, they too were an nightmare. Please pass this along so no one will purchase one of these promotions at HSN. I've dealt with home shopping in the past and everything was generally fine. They should not connect themselves with other companies depending on them to complete services. I deal with TracFone directly. It seems like dealing with a third party (no matter what the product) leads to more complications if a problem occurs.

I have 2 tracfones and have had them for a couple of years. My experience is that they DO NOT HONOR their "double minutes for life" ad. I went to their forum to get some satisfaction -- could not find a phone number to contact them. They responded on the forum with "we'll fix it off line, we'll email you." Never received either email or satisfaction. After several times trying to get my promised DMFL I gave up. Went back a few months later to try again. Went to forums. Read that I was not alone in never getting my DMFL. I logged in. What to my surprise
