TurkeezRus Complaint - FRAUD- Becareful!!!!!!

ATLANTA, GEORGIA -- Long Story Short- I arrived to pick up the turkey on New Year's eve and the owner told me her mom passed away two weeks ago and was unable to fulfill my order. I never receive a notification to let me know so I can make other arragements. I was in a crunch since I had guests for dinner that night!!! However, I was sympathetic with the lady and she offered to refund the money. But as of today (2/25/11) I have not seen a credit back on my card. I tried to e-mail and it bounce back.

The website is no longer up and I don't have a number where to call.
Bottom line they make up excuses, you never receive your order and they take your money- It's called Fraud.

I hope they catch this people on the run soon.

I don't know that this should be considered fraud. From what you posted it sounds like the owner closed down after her mom passed, maybe she just forgot to take care of your refund since she was dealing with death/funeral arrangements/grieving? When it wasn't taken care of right away you also had the option to file a dispute with your CC company, but it's probably too late for that now.

If they closed, the only real recourse is to dispute the charge and try and get it reversed. There may be still time, but a few factors are working against you. If you are going to do it at all, then try it right now.
