I was surprised to see negative reviews on this website about Ameriprise. I have 3 autos now enrolled with Ameriprise auto insurance. When I got into a fender bender with my Toyota 4Runner, Ameriprise was quick, thorough, gave me no issue about the accident, even though the CHP put on the report that it was my fault, and the Ameriprise agent only had me on the phone once or twice, for very brief discussions. Later, anticipating a raise in my rates because of the accident, I was pleasantly surprised to see my rates remain the same. I just got into another mishap with my Ford van, and Ameriprise responded quickly, once again only calling me to verify that there was an accident, and that's it.
They just gave me a great rate on a third vehicle, and now I'm insured for three vehicles at just over $500 every six months. Try to get that somewhere else, especially after two accident in about 3 years!
