Wells Fargo & Company Complaint - Wells Fargo Wire Transfer Reversal Without Consent
CHANDLER, ARIZONA -- In 2008 my company processed a wire transfer with another company in England and we did a wire transfer through my business account at Wells Fargo. The Wire transfer got screwed up some how and the money was reversed back to it sender without my consent or the consent of my company. Eventually the Wells Fargo closed the business account and never discussed what happened to the wire transfer or the money. My company never owed any money to Wells Fargo, the account was just closed without any information why. Now last month 2011 I get an invitation to open a business account with Wells Fargo, so I go in and open a business account with Wells Fargo, everything was fine until about two weeks later my bank account handler calls me to see if I got my debit cards and that he was still trying to get the bonus offer through that went with opening the new account. I go into the branch the same day and speak with my bank account handler who then informs me of an issue with the account and that the wire transfer that happened in 2008 was considered an empty wire transfer and that the account was on hold until an investigation determines what has happened.
This is a new account and I was told that because of the old account it effects the new account. Well, I got a letter in the mail today stating that my new account has been closed based off a business decision and that was all the letter really said. Now I don't know what to do, I can't open an account because of this wire transfer which I can't get any information on. I don't owe any money and no information is available about why my accounts are being closed or why I can't open a new account. Can someone help me?
