Record your calls with Amex. It is a mandatory policy at all four of my companies with our business managers. What you discuss with one agent is never accurately reflected in the notes taken. When you get another agent the story has changed. After continuous problems with Amex, we now require all conversations to be recorded. Occasionally, they don't want to argue with the recording, and in some cases will do as they previously agreed.
