La-Z-Boy Incorporated Complaint - Costomer Service very bad
SPANISH FORT, ALABAMA -- I am very dissatisfied with the customer service in Spanish Fort store. We ordered the sofa and love seat with an understanding it would arrive in 28 days. The following is what happened since purchase.
1/17/11 Purchased furniture Couch and loveseat (Was told 28 days to
2/10/11 Called for status (Was told we would receive on Friday 2/17/11)
2/16/11 Called for time of Delivery (Sold existing furniture due to
response on the 2/10/11 call) Was told that it NOW takes 6
weeks and if I want to return it the it is a 25 percent restocking fee.
They expect it to arrive
2/21/11 or 2/22/11 after we talked to the manager.
2/22/11 Called and manager did not call back.
2/23/11 Called and store was closed
2/24/11 Called and was told 2nd piece had arrived and delivery would be
2/28/11 Called and was told that our town was not on the Monday run and it
would be Thursday.
The clerk & manager lied to us several times and Knowing we have already
sold our old furniture, is now giving us the run around about the delivery.
The manager has never called us once. It was us that had to make all the
