DirecTV Inc Complaint - Cancellation Fee $480 Gotcha
Wow, never again. I thoroughly regret giving DirecTV a TRY. They make you sign up for a two-year contract before the installer leaves even to try the service, offering you an absurd 24-hour window to make a decision to cancel. Who can possibly make an evaluation in 24 hours? My wife did not like the navigation/guide features, the salespeople were relentless, I gave the company a good faith effort to make getting On Demand to work in our house, and it didn't, so I went back to Comcast.
Then this $440 charge appeared because we were into our second month. This is almost as much as it cost for my first wife and I to divorce!
