Reebok/CCM Complaint - Poor Replacement Service
QUEBEC -- My son bought a $200.00 Thornton hockey stick in early January with Christmas money.
It broke during his first game using it. He hadn't even realized it was broken until he went to take another shot so how it happened so easily we don't know.
Reebok/CCM policy states that you must send them the stick and they will replace it under certain circumstances which we met by checking their website.
You then have to pay out of your own pocket to return it to Quebec (if you live in Canada). The stick was returned January 18, 2011 and by the end of February we still had not heard anything. Followed up on March 1st only to find out that they had substituted a replacement stick which wouldn't be availabile until mid April (when our hockey play-offs are already over). The offered to substitute yet another one but finding one that was of similar quality, weight, curve, etc. was not easy. Having finally done that, they say they will send it in a week.
