Amercan Residential Communities Complaint - What A Joke - Mobile home community

Review by bsmuststop on 2011-03-02
RALEIGH, NORTH CAROLINA -- This has got to be the biggest rip off in the history of home rentals. This company is all about money and they care nothing for their residents. They advertise that have it all yetb they give you nothing but heart ache. Generally the property managers all seem likre they get up om the wrong side of the bed. The manager of the property where I live has a serious attitude problem. I live in a community in Raleigh NC. and this manager talks down to all of the residents, she treats them like she's better than they are. Her attitude is so bad that my refuses to talk to her for fear of having to cuss her out. Maintenace is a joke. I have been trying to get a flap for my toilet for over 3 months. The reason I get is that there are none in stock, come on now, Lowes is only 5 minutes away. American Residential Communities is not consumer friendly.
They threat their residents, the rent goes up every year like clock work.
The only time you see the manager is when she's walking to work and if you try to talk to her then, she kindly tells you come to the office and give you a time that she knows she is not goiung to be there.

Buy your own "flap" and deduct the cost from the rent.

check your states landlord tenant rules. you may have the right to do repairs and deduct costs. also review the contract you signed. make sure you did not agree to any thing that can cause you to wave rights from the states rules. In some states this is allowed.
