Toys R Us Complaint - Not clear on promotions
Over the holidays- Toys R Us advertised that you would receive 10% back on your purchases up to $40. Fine- okay spent my $400+ and never received my reward. Asked at the store repeatedly no-one quite knew the answer- was told to go to website- couldn't find answer there either. Finally called 1800TOYSRUS and spoke to a customer service representative I was told it was given via email and that it expired so I would not receive my $40. No where was it advertised that it would be given through email- never received an email regarding reward promotion. Also never told during the holidays that it would expire- no sales clerk ever told that to me. All other rewards are sent through the mail and since I was never told differently I thought I would receive in the mail. Asked to be contacted by the big wigs. I will be returning what I just bought from Toys R Us and will stop shopping there.
