Economy Rent A Car Complaint - Any can take a reservation - but can you hold the reservation? (a la Seinfeld)

FORT LAUDERDALE, FLORIDA -- I made a reservation one month in advance. THERE WAS NO CAR FOR US UPON ARRIVAL AT THE AIRPORT. We were stranded at the airport with no offer to help. We requested a call as soon as possible to let us know if/when a car was available, but never heard back. We rent cars frequently but never again will we rent from this company...

A few more details would really help in reviewing your complaint. Did you arrive on time, what time of day was it, what were you told regarding why there was no car, were you expecting this call while you were at the airport, etc...
