L'Oreal USA, Inc. Complaint - Beyonce as the spoke person

Complaint
Review by :Brownsugar1996 on 2011-03-04
Beyonce is a horrible representation of Loreal. In an interview in the latest issue, the 29-year-old, who is married to rapper Jay Z, tells girls: 'My best rule for any hair type, do not do your own color. How is she marketing for your company when she disrespects your product? Beyonce is being a hypocrite not only to Loreal as a company, but the people who supports Loreal hair products. I am disgusted and not amuse by Beyonce comment, If she continues to be the spoke person of Loreal, I will never purchase a product from Loreal. It is a shame she will put down your product, but endorse it the same time. Enough is Enough Beyonce has got to go.

Interesting! I can't say it's fair to blame and punish L'Oreal for comments made by their spokesperson which clearly they wouldn't want her to say.

why is it bad for her to be honest? it really IS better to get your hair colored professionally.

would you prefer her to lie?

and i'm not sure what her marriage has to do with this either

Well, she's getting paid to represent in home hair color and she doesn't think anyone should use it. So at the very least she's making herself look bad.

Actually, I would think L'Oreal could sue her for making a statement like this. I wonder if this was taken out of context? I also note that the publication where this was printed has been omitted.

Beyonce wears wigs. She doesn't occasionally wear a wig, she wears one everyday. She shouldn't be a spokesperson for hair products period. It was all hypocritical from the start.

She doesn't specifically say 'Don't use L'Oreal.' It probably was taken out of context. She could have been referring to people who don't know how to color their own hair
