Avondale Mazda Complaint - WOULD NOT EVEN TELL MY WORST ENEMY TO BUY FROM THEM
AVONDALE, ARIZONA -- I traded in my Toyota for a Mazda 3, a couple days after having the car it had some weatherstripping issues on all the windows. The car was bought on 082910 and on 090910 I took the Mazda in, due to the fact that it had bubbles on all the windows and some scratches on the car. On 090910 I went to the dealership to address this issues when I got there I met with a sales manager, he went outside with me and I showed him the scratches on the car, I then pointed out the bubbles in the tint and she says to me you are nitpicking, what do you expect you live in Arizona. This is part of your car. You're in the desert. We then went inside to speak the the general manager. The general manager told me who he was and I explained to him what had just happened outside. He says to me lets sit down, I said to him, no I don't want to sit down. So the general manager says to me if you don't sit down I will have you escorted off the premises(mind you that I had not done anything to warrant that attitude) just because I would not sit down.
Let me start with the general manager, he was rude and not professional.
The finance director tried to get me to sign a general release telling me that my Toyota lien holder wanted me to sign the release. So I called the lien holder and they told me that was not the case.
Because I refused to sign this general realese the dealership refused to give me my trade in back on three different occasions. The lien holder on my trade did nothing to get my car back after my loan with them had been rerversed or re-instated.
There is nothing positive that I can say about this dealership. All I can say to future buyers do your homework, call the local police departments, check with the attorney generals office for any complaints or judgments
on the dealership that you are buying from and also check the bbb website. Talk to your friends about it. You never know if they had something similar happened to them.
