Give a call to The California Department of Consumer Affairs about this tomorrow morning (Hours 8AM-5PM Pacific Time) at 800-925-5210.

They are a rip off. I did not join, but I did sign up. They wanted me to pay $155.00 for a membership. It's free to sign up, but to find anyone, they want you to pay. Facebook is free. Look for lost relatives there.

I told My Life to take a hike, and cancelled my account.

Good advice Alain, as always.

I never give my account number for a trial period because it's considered an authorization to take out money. And that can be hard to reverse. At least with a credit card, it's not MY money, and it can be disputed. Never, never, never give anyone your account number, especially if you don't have money to spare.
