Amazon.com Informative - Have you noticed this at all?
I have to say I shop quite a bit with Amazon and have been happy with the service but not so with the individuals selling through Amazon.
I find that after ordering and paying I am being told the book is no longer in stock, this costs me because of the exchange on my credit card.
I have also noticed that when I order a number of used books I have been using various sellers just to distribute the wealth ... Since I have to pay the shipping fee every time anyways. What I have noticed is books are taking a lot longer to arrive and I noticed that even though I ordered from 3 different sellers or 2, they are arriving from 1 seller?? And the books at times are not in the condition as listed.
Anyhow, the thing I was wondering about was... has anyone noticed that the more they look at an item the higher it goes in price. I have noticed this with several items, I am trying to figure out what I want, ie. Nikon camera, I looked at it numerous times over days trying to decide if I should go for it only to find that the more I am ambivilant the higher it goes in price. I felt that this was an Amazon thing and they must know how often I go to this item. I checked for the same item at work and it was the original price ... as when I started looking? I have noticed this with several items now and if I am really interested I do not put it on my wish list or click on it too much...
Has anyone else experienced this?
That is it :)
