XMRadio Complaint - How XMRadio Treats Their Customers

Review by woodst on 2011-03-07
This company took my money in the amount of $300. plus for 3 years. I received a bill in Aug. 2010 stating as of Sept. 1, 2010, I would need to pay $401.45 for service for the next 3 years. I called them in Aug. 2010, the day I received the bill and told them that I would not be renewing my subscription and to cancel my account that day even though it did not run out until Sept. 1st 2010. A guy by the name of Sam at XM said it would be cancelled that day. In Nov. 2010, I began to receive a pass due notice of $34.25 and then in Dec. 2010, I received a call from a collection company to collect the $34.25. I then call XM immediately and they told me that I did not owe the $34.25 and that my bal. was $0. The person also gave me a confirmation number of #04825485 and told me that I would not be called again. On 3/7/2011, I received a call from a company call EOSCCA and stated they were calling to collect the $34.25 balance on my XM account. At this point, I was so pissed off, that I paid the $34.25. I wonder what their companies vision and values are. I my opinion, it is to screw the customer and charge them for cancelling their account.

I will never do business with this company again and would recommend that you get everything they tell you over the phone to make sure you get it in writing.

So you got so pissed off that you paid money you didn't owe? No wonder they keep doing it...
