DirecTV Inc Complaint - Poor & Rude Service
We recently had direct TV installed in 2 homes. We were suppose to get free NFL ticket as an incentive for switching to direct TV. This never happened. When we called customer service, the personnel were rude, and we were switched from person to person, with no help what so ever. We were told, that we were not suppose to get the NFL ticket for free. We responded, that since all calls were supposedly recorded by the company, why do you not just go back and review the phone call when we ordered the service? Direct TV personnel refused to do this. We finally filed a compliant with the Better Business Bureau. However, we still had to pay for the NFL ticket.
Also, Direct TV advertises Free TV on Demand channels, but what they don't tell you is it is your responsibility to buy the cable and hook up the service yourself.
We didn't find this out until after we had made several phone calls trying to figure out why we were not getting the on demand channels.
Bottom line....I HATE DIRECT TV!! BUYER BEWARE!
As soon as our contract is finished, I am switching back to our old provided.
