Target - Up & Up Brands Compliment - Happy With The Store Brand - Up & Up Eye Makeup Remover

Up & Up Eye Makeup Remover - Compliment
Review by Crown Jules on 2011-03-07
When I ran out of eye makeup remover I headed to Target for another bottle of the Neutrogena brand I'd had before. I was pleasantly surprised to see that Target's store brand, Up & Up, had the same product for considerably less money. I read the labels to compare the contents and found that Up & Up had the exact same ingredients in the exact same order but the cost was about $2.00 less than Neutrogena. Now, $2.00 isn't going to break me, especially since my previous bottle lasted several months, but it's the principle. I bought it and it works just as well as Neutrogena.

I'm used to seeing and buying store brands on things like soft drinks or pasta or contact lens cleaner but I never expected to find such a random items as eye makeup remover in a store brand. Well done, Target.

I've bought the Target brand for a few things, such as baby shampoo, and it does work just as good. I've found that store brands are usually just as good as name brands.

Good review. Many times, stores brands work just as well as name brands, but for certain items only.

Glad this is one of them.

Comparing ingredients is a good idea. That's what I usually do. Most store brands are a great buy. The savings can really add up.
