Bose Corporation Complaint - Great Engineering Feat

I just received my new Bose Wave radio as an upgrade on my old one after 8 years.
The thing has no buttons....only a remote. I called the company and was told that I could purchase additional remotes for $10.00 each.
There is no holding place on the radio for the remote and the radio is a cripple without the remote.
I don't know about anyone else, but keeping track of remotes is not on my #1 list of things I want to do for the day. I had an optional remote on my old radio, and never used it. This will not be fun.

I'm incined to agree. While remotes can be great, there are times whe you just don't want to deal with them. They should never be the only way to control a device - but things seem to be going that way and it can be a really big pain.
