Netflix Compliment - Outstanding Value - DVD Streaming/Rental
I opened my account over two years ago and I couldn't be happier. There are many poor reviews in regard to delays in receiving DVDs, but that has never been an issue for me personally. I always get my DVDs on-time when they are up in my queue. I used to order two at a time, but now I'm down to one...with no changes in the speed or priority of delivery.
I've only had one defective DVD. I reported it online and had the replacement DVD the next day (WITHOUT having to send the defective one back first).
As far as damaged DVDs, I sometimes wonder if it's the area people live. People who live in a metropolitan areas are, unfortunately, more likely to see more wear-and-tear to their DVDs. And, there are always people who are careless and disrespectful of property.
I've never had a billing issue...it is deducted automatically every month--no hassle. I know that it's a monthly expense, so plan accordingly. I'd have to agree with other reviewers who say that Netflix is not responsible for your account--YOU are.
Streaming is WONDERFUL! The quality has been excellent and I've yet to have a problem. I've found so many awesome TV series, documentaries, shorts, as well as classic and indie films that I never would have had an opportunity to see otherwise. I can't say enough good things about the streaming. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT!!!
You don't have to leave home and, for the price, it can't be beat!
I have only one negative thing to say...they no longer support using the DVD and I can't get my Wii to download Netflix, so that seriously pisses me off. Now, I need to buy a compatible device when I can't really afford one. Thank god, I still have my computer!
