Valmark Chevrolet Complaint - This Place is a Train Wreck

Review by Pissed at Chevrolet on 2011-03-09
NEW BRAUNFELS, TEXAS -- I had 1989 Corvette repaired from shipping problems from another vehicle falling on hood. It was an insurance job so they had the money and 4 months to the job right. When I picked my car up 4 months and $6500.00 later it was missing the splash cover, emblems, radiator cover, and hood was put on wrong. Windshield wipers, interior lights disconnected and interior locks were damaged by them. Insurance company was billed for some of these parts or work not performed. Took the car back to them once. I took it to another Chevrolet place and they fixed some of botched repairs from the first Chevrolet place. I have had no car for 6 months. I even called GM corporate which did not nothing over 5 phone calls and a month.

As regular corvette owner GM does not deserve repeat business. In summary buy a nice Honda or Ford because GM does not care about quality or customer service at the dealership or corporate level.

GM had nothing to do with it. They made the car 22 years ago. It is your car, not theirs. Your issue is with the individual dealership and your insurance company for letting them do what they did.

Have you contacted your insurance company, to let them know how dissatisfied you are with the repair job?

Yes I have contacted the insurance company and they said since the Valmark messed up the repairs it's since I have proof in the video it worked before it went to their shop they would not pay for something that worked proir to repairs.
